Our community of accounting researchers in the Netherlands has grown steadily over the past years and we now have a large body of young tenure trackers and PhD students working in close proximity. However, the opportunities we have to present our work externally are still limited. Given the importance of this to the ultimate success of young researchers, we are setting up this conference series in which juniors can present their work in the Netherlands.

We were excited to host the third in-person Junior Accounting Meeting conference in Rotterdam on October 16, 2024. Many thanks to all presenters and attendees for contributing to the first two JAM conferences and making them a great experience.

JAM was founded by its board members from Erasmus University Rotterdam: Marcel van Rinsum and Jeroen Suijs, and the University of Amsterdam: Jan Bouwens.
